Warrington welcomed the cast of Parr Hall’s pantomime Dick Whittington last week as they followed Dick’s dream and went in search of streets paved with gold- striking lucky at Warrington’s iconic Golden Gates and the town centre light switch on.

Tony Peers Productions returns to Parr Hall this festive season with Dick Whittington, running from Saturday 2 until Sunday 10 January 2016. The rags-to-riches story tells the tale of one man and his cat as they embark on a quest to become Mayor of London, whilst featuring all the traditional pantomime ingredients including; sensational songs, dazzling dance routines, magnificent slapstick comedy and bags of audience participation.

The 2016 pantomime cast includes comedy act Double Trouble Damian Patton & Tom Rolfe, who will take on the roles of Captain and Mate. This comic duo has comedy mentors of the highest calibre in the form of Damian’s uncles, The Chuckle brothers.

Rebecca Draper takes on the title role of Dick Whittington fresh from filming her part in ITV’s Stand By Your Man and Liverpool born Ellie Carroll will star as Alice in this version of the classic tale.

Parr Hall pantomime veteran Phil Beck returns as the Dame and David Kustard brings to life the character of King Rat in his Mother’s home town.

Finally, after appearing in last year’s pantomime, local dancers from the Felicia Burns School of Dance will once again add festive sparkle to the show.
