Take part in the decoration of Pyramid’s Christmas tree

BaubleWEBArt enthusiasts of all ages are invited to a bauble decorating workshop at Pyramid this December to help dress the art centre’s eight foot Christmas tree.

This workshop, which is run by Blooming Art in partnership with Culture Warrington, will take place on Saturday 5 December from 10:30am until 1:30pm and is part of the BBC’s Get Creative – a year-long celebration of British arts, culture and creativity.

Gail Stubbings, founder of Blooming Art Classes Warrington, will lead the workshop in which local residents are welcome to drop in to Pyramid where they will be given the tools and opportunity to express themselves through the decoration of Christmas baubles.

Get Creative aims to boost creativity in the UK, as well as celebrating the millions of people already doing something artistic and creative every day. Culture Warrington is joining hundreds of organisations nationwide to become a Get Creative Champion.

Derek Dick, Exhibitions and Services Manager at Culture Warrington, said: ‘It’s fantastic that we are able champion a national campaign that celebrates arts, culture and creativity. With the range of activities on offer at Culture Warrington venues I can confidently say there is something to take part in creatively for all the family.”

Gail Stubbings, owner of Blooming Art Classes Warrington, said: “I am extremely excited to be working in partnership with Culture Warrington to offer a drop-in art workshop for the community. I would encourage everyone to drop in and get creative this summer by putting their artistic skills to the test.”
