Something special is in store for Warrington, as Cara Dillon arrives at Parr Hall on Saturday 19 March to play the extraordinary music which has gained her legions of fans around the world.

Dillon has appeared at prestigious concert halls and festivals all over the world, and she will be adding Parr Hall to that esteemed list as she performs songs from her latest critically-acclaimed album, ‘A Thousand Hearts’, along with a few favourites.

Hailing from County Derry, Dillon has become one of the best known singers of traditional Irish folk around the world, using her unique and beautiful voice to bring a contemporary twist to her thoroughly-Irish musical roots. This has led to some impressive achievements, including winning ‘Album of the Year’ at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards and ‘Best Irish Female’ at the Meteor Music Awards.

Always looking to bring new audiences to her work, Cara Dillon has topped the charts with dance remixes, lent her voice to the title song of Disney’s ‘Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue’, and sang with full orchestral backing. It’s no wonder that she can count Ed Sheeran, Alison Krauss, Ellie Goulding, and Robert Plant as fans.

This is a performer who is at the very top of her field, and this show will prove that she will be up there for many years to come.
