Warrington “Blessed” as national treasure takes to the stage this autumn

Audiences across the North West are being called to enjoy a larger than life performance with one of the nation’s most-loved stars of stage and screen.


British actor Brian Blessed is known across all generations for his booming voice and king-sized portrayals of timeless characters, from Prince Vultan in Flash Gordon, to Boss Nass in Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace.


A seasoned Shakespearean actor, Brian has stolen the limelight in many of the nation’s leading theatres, and now this esteemed thespian is set to tread the Parr Hall stage when he heads to Warrington on Thursday 20 September.


An Evening with Brian Blessed is one show not to be missed. His iconic eloquence and sense of humour is guaranteed to capture your attention from the moment he walks on stage until the moment he leaves, as he regales audiences with stories from his illustrious career that spans more than 50 years.


With fascinating anecdotes ranging from the comedy of Blackadder to the serious drama of Shakespeare, in addition to tales from his adventures up Mount Everest and Mount Kilimanjaro, this personal talk with one of the nation’s greatest actors is set to leave you spellbound.
