Irene Dukes – Dance Tutor
Pam Wilson – Class Administrator
We are a new group, starting in November and meeting at 10.30 a.m. on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of the month, for a two hour session, at The Postlethwaite Studio, Pyramid, Palmyra Square, Warrington.
The aim of the class is to promote physical and mental wellbeing by maintaining and improving mobility, flexibility, muscle tone and cardio-vascular function, improving balance, posture, confidence and memory.
The group will be aimed at absolute beginners; any restricted mobility problems will not be a barrier and exercises can be adapted to suit.
Loose, easy to move in clothing is advised and initially flat, soft slipper type shoes or socks for the ballet and a flat or low heeled shoe with a leather or composite sole that does not stick to the floor, for the tap. You may, of course, have long forgotten tap or ballet shoes in the loft!
We will be enrolling members for the class from September onwards, so come along, enjoy the music and have some fun “getting fit”
The first class will be held on 14 November.
The Postlethwaite Studio is on the second floor and does have lift access.
Membership of the U3A is mandatory.
